Pacman crashes French supermarket

This is perhaps one of the dumbest videos I've ever seen... But also absolutely hilarious... in a 'what the hell is going on here' kinda way . I love the reaction of the people standing by looking puzzled, some hopping out of the way, others actually attacking Pacman ... You'd think they'd never seen a man yellow suit before... being chased through the aisles... by a bunch of guys... in colored sheets... uh, yeah ...

The man under the Pacman suit is actually a hugely popular internet prankster from France named Remi Gaillard. Combined his Youtube and Dailymotion pages boast well over 100 million views so apparently there is an audience out there for his insanity... (Btw I highly recommend checking out his Graffiti video... the TV they create apparently has interesting side-effects ...)

Anderson assesses the merits of 'teabagging'

Teabagging is real, it's here, and you better get used to it!...... The movement is in full swing... bobbing back and forth from coast to coast ... And apparently teabaggers have united to send a message to the President loud and clear... they're not gonna take it sitting down ...

Ok, so yeah, I think I'll take my head out of the gutter for a minute. But can you blame me? I guess if a respected journalist like Anderson Cooper of CNN can let a few teabag jokes slip, then there's no harm in having fun a little fun ... Who'd have thought the most conservative members of this country would gleefully promote teabagging... and enjoy every minute of it. Guess you really can never judge a book by it's cover I suppose ...

And this year's Darwin Award goes to...

It seems this year's Darwin award recipient is receiving her award somewhat early compared to last year's winner... But you gotta admit, sitting in a car all locked inside... the windows rolled up and the temperature rising. Managing that feat alone's gotta deserve some sort of recognition .

Woman: Hello operator, I think I've just locked myself in my bathroom.
911 Operator: ..... M'am... can you turn the lock on the doorknob?
Woman: I'm trying, but it's getting kinda hot... oh wait...

Jon Stewart skewers CNBC

What a sad state of affairs we've arrived at... that in this country we've reached the point where comedians have to be the ones exposing the self-serving media for being exactly what it is... self-serving. CNBC is perhaps a prime example just such a case... where (supposed) 'economists' have been playing cheerleaders for a team that in essence turned out to be to be the progenitors of this current economic crisis. What a sad state of affairs indeed.

That said, I've noticed Jon Stewart has really been at his best lately. When he's mad he's great, but when he's outraged it seems he really doesn't hold back ... Then again, there's a lot to be outraged about nowadays so who can really blame him...

Everything is amazing... yet nobody's happy...

There's a saying that goes like this: The world is a tragedy to those who feel, but a comedy to those who think. Comedian Louis CK made an appearance on Late Night with Conan O'Brien a couple days ago... and proved just how much of a thinker he is.

Although yes this is comedy, I also think it's an absolutely brilliant assessment of just how spoiled our generation is. Wise words from a wise man indeed .

Why Youtube, why?...

Why, must you consistently bombard me with your endless stream of videos featuring people making total fools of themselves in front of a camera. We don't get enough of that in the mainstream media apparently? Do you derive some sick pleasure out of all this? ... Was that a yes?? ... Well fine I guess, whatever . I'll watch your videos... but I'm not necessarily gonna like it.

Ok, so maybe I liked these videos a little... in a 'they're so horrendous that they're borderline funny' kind of way? Plus never hurts to have super cute guys singing (or lip-syncing to be more accurate) to keep one's attention. To be honest, considering the competition that's out there... (*cringe*), I really don't mind the goofiness aspect.

Anyhow both these clips are by a youtube comedy group based out of LA... I believe from the looks of it it seems to be Hollywood (the sign gave it away ). And yeah, the geeky guy in the second video would be so by my type... if he wasn't such a hyper-active stalker ...

Who is this... Obama...?

This President of ours... who exactly is he, this "man" we've come to "know" and "admire" as President Obama? How did he get here? Where did he come from? And what are his ultimate goals?... This charismatic yet mysterious politician who we're now hailing as the 44th President of these United States...

(*removes hat*)... Excuse me for a second while I place this tinfoil on the counter... Ok, where was I... oh yeah . So seriously, who is President Barack Obama? Well, apparently some 'brilliant' minds have come up with a couple of theories that might shock you (perhaps even disturb you somewhat). The Daily Show investigates...

So what's the conclusion? I guess if you're a charismatic/popular figure, then odds are better than not, you're either the anti-Christ, or the reincarnation of Hitler... (never both at once though ).... Interesting ... Never underestimate the potential for comedy within the midst of stark raving lunacy ...

Hilarious satire once again from The Onion ... just barely straddling that thin line between critical humor and reality. I don't get the appeal of the real Larry King show itself, but I am guilty of watching from time to time when nothing's on. My ever insightful Comcast info button described Larry as a suspendered/avuncular host... I hate that word [avuncular], but hey maybe they might be onto something with regards to the appeal ...

SNL's Lonely Island is on a boat...

I think it's safe to say there's only one way I to describe SNL comedy trio The Lonely Island's recent boat trip featuring rapper T-Pain... Way, way, way over the top! Who'd have thunk it really? A rap song by an SNL comedy group about... well, just about being on a boat? It actually came out sounding somewhat decent (albeit *heavily profanity laden*). But Andy Samberg is super cute so I can somewhat ignore that... plus I love his personality (totally reminds me of one of my friends)...

Also please someone give the director/video editor of this video a medal... cause just in terms of great cinematography, it came out looking awesome. The Lonely Island's album Incredibad came out this past tuesday. The album is also available through Itunes.
